The bore is excellent with bright, sharp rifling. The mechanics are in good working order and collectors will be happy to know that this revolver does not have the transfer bar safety update. The original walnut grips are in excellent shape with no notable wear. I'd grade the finish at about 98% overall. This revolver is in excellent original condition with only a small amount of finish wear to the barrel muzzle. Here's a very nice little revolver! This is an "Old Model" Ruger Super Bearcat compact single-action revolver. The Super Bearcat was made longer than any of the other Old Model Ruger single action revolvers and did not have the safety transfer bar system.
